About Yarburgh Community Preschool

Yarburgh Community Preschool was awarded an Outstanding rating by Ofsted in 2017. Yarburgh Community Preschool provides a safe, secure, stimulating and fun environment for young children to learn through play. We also provide support and friendship to families within the group. We are run by a committee made up of parents and are set in a purpose built premises with a large garden.

Yarburgh Community Preschool accepts children aged 2 to 5 years old. We welcome children with specific needs and support families in partnership with outside agencies. Our classrooms are open between 9am and 3pm and we offer half day or full day sessions. We also provide a more structured learning time for our rising 5s in our Stepping Stones sessions. We can support up to 24 children in the setting at each session and accept 15 and 30 hour funding.

Yarburgh Community Preschool has its own purpose built premises comprising of two large classrooms, a school office, a kitchen, a cloakroom and a bathroom with small toilets perfect for pre-schoolers. We also have a large enclosed garden with a sensory path, ride on toys, a two storey playhouse, a trim trail, a sand pit, a mud kitchen, climbing frames and other garden toys. Recently, we have revamped our facilities and processes and the children and staff can now enjoy freshly decorated learning spaces with many new toys, modern equipment and a more supportive working environment for the planning and development of the staff.
