Tuesday 09:00-12:00  12:00-15:00

Thursday 09:00-12:00 12:00-15:00
Friday 09:00-12:00 12:00-15:00 (SS)

Children can attend morning, afternoon or both sessions. If attending for the afternoon or staying all day, please ensure that you provide your child with a healthy packed lunch and a named drinks bottle.

Stepping Stones

SS denotes our Stepping Stones sessions on Wednesday and Friday afternoons. This will be offered to your child in the academic year before your child starts school. The sessions aim to prepare your child for school. The sessions are more structured with teacher led activities which encourage the children to sit and listen and follow instructions.

The children will begin to read their letters and numbers and do other activities to help them get ready for school, for example a PE activity to practice changing clothes. The session incorporates lunch time. Usually the children will bring their own packed lunch but occasionally a hot lunch will be provided, with cutlery to encourage children to practice eating using cutlery.

Fees

Fees are currently £5.50 per hour and should be paid upon receiving your bill at the beginning of each half term.

Children are entitled to up to 15 free funded hours per week, which takes effect the term after their third birthday. An additional 15 hours are available in some circumstances – please check childcarechoices.gov.uk for more information. Please note that as we run two identical Stepping Stones sessions per week, we can only take children for a maximum of 27 hours per week.

Please let the Manager know if you need to pay weekly or are experiencing difficulties in paying. Financial help may be available through outside agencies.

Unfortunately we are unable to waive fees for absences due to sickness or holidays. Four weeks notice in writing are required should you wish to remove your child.
