Thanks to everyone who came along to our 80’s Party Night – we’re pleased to report that we raised just over £600 from the event which will go towards our garden renovation plans!

Exciting news from Yarburgh

16th October 2017

We are able to share some exciting news following our inspection by Ofsted last week. We have been judged Outstanding!

Our staff team, led by Sue, and parent committee chaired by Sally, have worked tirelessly over the last year to aim towards an assessment from Ofsted and whilst we didn’t expect it to come round quite so soon, our work really has paid off. We would like to thank everyone who has assisted and those parents who spoke to the inspector last week.

A Big, Big Thank You!

Yarburgh has had a very successful year. Both the staff and the committee have been working hard to rejuvenate the setting to improve the school for our children. We have fundraised, budgeted and used the Government funding wisely so that during the summer we have been able to spend £8000 on enhancing the school!

We have looked at the areas of learning we promote and the facilities in general and have distributed the funds carefully. With the help of a local business who donated 40 hours of labour to boost our workforce, we have been able to decorate a classroom and our new sensory area and revamp our outside entrance area.

The changes have made quite an impact and the children are enjoying their new setting. We have a bright classroom, plenty of new toys, games and equipment, an outside space to inspire, a sensory area and a more welcoming entrance.

During these challenging economic times, when preschool closures are common, Yarburgh should be very proud of these achievements.

I would like to thank all our parents, the Committee and the Staff for all your generosity, time and support. Without your help, we would not have been able to make the positive changes which now benefit our children.
